I went off roading this morning with my brother and soon realized I had a 4WD issue. I was going in and our of 4HI to 4LO with no issues for about 2 hours.

After being in 4HI for a while I went to put it in 4LO to get up a hill and the button light flashed and didn't engage. After playing with it I tried puting it in 2WD, but that didn't work either. I looked at my vacuum lines and everything seems ok, but I don't really know what it could be.

Anybody have any ideas?

 

There's a dignostic/DIY thread for the front actuator somewhere on here. I've seen you you folks with your new highfallutin' vehicles, LOL, discussin' this problem quite a bit in the past.
I do think also that a bunch of mud packed in around the front half shafts can make it difficult for things to move around properly. ie engage/disengage.

I can't for the life of me remember where I saw it though.
