Hi

The transmission in my 1995 blazer has lost reverse. I was going to swap it out with a 4L60E from a rolled blazer I knew about but was told it would not fit and that only a 1995 blazer transmission will fit in a 1995. Does anyone know what year blazer transmissions are compatible or am I looking at a remanufactured one made for a 1995. I'd appreciated any help!

I just change my 1995 trny and I had to use only the 1995 4l60e, no other yer would work, sorry for the news.

You can use a different year trans. but you have to use the 1995 spacer plate and valve body.
