Default Switching into 4 - wheel drive

I have 95 Blazer. Yesterday I discovered that I no longer have 4-wheel drive. I had it last winter for the few times I used it. (yesterday my back left wheel dropped into a hole, so I "switched into 4-wheel, to discover it didn't/wouldn't" (I sometimes get this Blazer mixed-up with my old 4WD Explorer.) Luckily a nice person give me a tow out of the hole!

In one of these, I replaced a vacuum unit that did the switching. I thought it was near the battery.
Today I can't find it! Is it UNDER the battery?

If not, what do I look for in linkage problems?

Looking forward to your answers.

Dennis

Default Thank you!

Thank you, Don L. I found it - and found broken bellows in the unit. Time to buy a new one.

You might also want to check all of your other vacuum lines while you are at it.
