Default thermostat

how do you replace the thermostat in a 2000 ZR2? I can find it on my old 84, but I can not find it for the life of me? where is it located? please help me........

Find the water outlet tube on the top of your engine (runs from the radiator to the engine). Unbolt it and the thermo is under it.

Yeah, the t-stat housing is at the same spot as it was on your '84 it's just that the upper radiator hose takes a bit longer route to get there. Just follow the upper radiator hose.
