Just a point of ref. I had 318,000 miles on my jimmy when I replaced the engine with a GM factory rebuilt. I now have 70k on the replacement engine. The old engine was just tired out. It did not have the same power any more but it was not burning any oil no knocks just weak.

^^^LOL... Ya i guess some people are just more lucky. Plus my truck had sat in a garage for most its life prior to my ownership. It was definately NOT neglected in any way though. **** happens right?
