Time To Drop The Pan Again!
Wow, I can't believe it has been over 4 years since I last dropped the pan and replaced the trans filter! I have been driving around in 2nd unable to upshift for that long, lol! My bad.
OK, from my previous archived posts it appears I may have inadvertently damaged the 2-3 solenoid so now it's time, (long overdue) to correct my mistake as the blazer won't drive in any gear and I fear the filter is clogged once again.
So, my question is this...
How do I identify the 2-3 solenoid and is it a hard job to fix?

If its the cylinoids that will be able to spot, they are in the front of the trans on the valve body They just pop in and out I believe. If you been driving the vehicle with these symtoms I hate to say it but your trans is probably toast.
Heres a link that shows how to change them
