Default torque converter

I have an89 350 4x4 blazer and I was wondering how hard it would be to change the torque converter? Is there any special tricks I shoud know? Sorry for the stupid questions, I'm a noob!

Default RE: torque converter

Drop the trans, swap the tc and reinstall the trans... Not especially difficult, but quite time consuming. You'll want to have a lot of extensions and it may require you to drop your transfer case off of the back of the transmission to be able to better handle the transmission on a jack.
