Just got a low miles (~10K to 20K) 4L60E from a friend. Unfortunately he didn't give me the torque converter. A few guys at work are telling me I'm wasting my time and should get a trans that has the torque converter with it because if I throw a reman'd one on it might mess something up. Is this true or can I just toss a new TC on it and be done with it?
