I replace the converter about 3 weeks ago on my 96 rwd, ran beautiful and then she crapped out. when i took the pan off and inspected it, found out the pump took a dump and even pop out one of the vanes and stuck it to the filter neck. looking at the part number of the converter it looks like they gave me the converter that was carbon filled and and it looks like the one that i needed was the woven graphite filled, they never said that their was a choice in converters. checking online i saw that it said that they were not compatible and if using the wrong one it would be a problem, any help would be appreciated and thankyou.
