Best to change the Converter seal and the rear tail shaft seal

you can use black rtv to seal the transfer case to the tailshaft Unless ya wanna go to the dealer for the gasket ... but rtv works just as fine

and yea might as well change the pan gasket and filter while your at it

Try calling a local trans shop & ask what they do or use for that trans to transfer case gasket.

Just had mine rebuilt and installed by a transmission shop and they used black RTV.

Well.....update time.
i have the tranny...transcase...and all goodies out.
I did the end seals on both....i did rear main seal..all though it was fine.
I do however have a rear leak..it is the very back of the oil pan.
i am sure i know the answer but here we go...is there anyway to clean it up and use black rtv on the spot without dropping the oil pan??

I dont think you need rtv on the oil pan the gasket should seal it just fine

you can use rtv to seal between the tail of the trans and the tcase tho

now mind you that rear seal in the pics is the stock one....230k and it looked good!!

leak is right below it on pan seal.

right in the red circle...directly below the main rear seal.
i have had a wet bottom directly under there for some time...never really leaves any drops..just always damp. i have cleaned the bottom of engine and it always comes back...it is a very slow seepage i guess...rather than a leak...just figured since i was in this deep i would do what i could

thank you for all the help to gio.
