Is it not shifting at all, or if you lay off the gas for a second and hit it again (gently) will it shift then?

This is what you need - Basically your valve body plate is blown... see pic. The material is too thin/soft and with excessive idling, the check ball for the accumulator can get wedged... This is what all happens.

You will need the Transgo orange Box kit to fix this, along with a trango "Updated" valve body plate with top and bottom gaskets.

All instructions are included. I performed the install, leveledd my fluid off and drove away. I got another 45K miles out of it before my 3/4 Clutch went out... The trans guy that performed my rebuilt new of the Orange Box kit and left it in it's place. 'Nuff said.


Wedged Check Ball...

Blown Accumulator Spring...


The Fix!!!

just a quick question, i still have second gear. would this still fix the problem?

Man, I'm sorry for the confusion... I re-read you original post(I have ADHD) Sounds like the 3/4 clutch burned up. Rebuild time.

I have amazing news, after flushing the tranny yesterday i let it sit till about noon today. I took james to get gas for the lawn mower and everything is back to normal.

What ever the problem was I am no longer having it
