tranny problem

Default tranny problem

i have 1998 chevy blazer 4x4 my tranny goes out once it gets warm its a dead stick no gears at all. the first 10 min it works fine in all gears. how big a job is this something simple or something major please help

sound like a major problem to me, but it could always be a simple problem also
try reposting this to the engine and transmission forum linked above

A trans that quits moving warm and will move cold for a short period will need replaced.

Any whining noises coming from it?
