Default tranny pump pressure question

From research I have found that the idle pressure of the tranny pump is around 65lbs, going up with rpms to around 200 max. Since it is always flowing, is it really at that pressure? There1s no dead end to create more pressure, its always moving. The reason I ask is that I spliced in rubber tranny hose flairing the tubing and used hose clamps. At a cold idle 1100- 1200rpms, I can squeeze the hose, its not hard, thers is pressure. I guess i just want to be comfortable with this set up
