So my 4l60- e took a dump just after I finally got done fine tuning the beast after a top end re build. I am viewing this as the perfect opportunity to Swap to a stick. Through the research I have done I know that the 94 stock tranny would have been the Getrag HM290. Which will fit up to my 241-c transfer case. I am looking for advise In the means of the finer details. Mounting the clutch pedal. Proper mounting of the master cylinder. Electrical issues. Speedometer syncing. Etc. any help is greatly appreciated. And please feel free to correct any misconceptions I have.

While I don't have any specific answers, the best bet will be to find a stick blazer in a junk yard, and pull everything you need from it. Maybe a stick s-10 would also work? They would probably be more abundant than a 5-speed blazer.
edit: is yours a full size? s-10 wouldn't work, then! Full size stuff would, though, wouldn't it? Wonder if a setup from a half ton truck would work? There's probably a bunch of them with sticks in a junk yard.

Yes I have done that bit of research. As far as the tranny is concerned as long as it is from a 93 94 95 half ton truck blazer or burb it's the same tranny. My question mainly is what is my easiest way to put the clutch pedal in and will my brakes vacuum booster get in the way. Also does the speedo have the same plug.
