How aoften are you guys changing your trans fluid? I've been changing mine about every 40000 miles, just wondering what everybody else is doing and how the trans is holding up.

 

Just did mine at 125,00 Just bought mine in dec 2011, never been done.

 

My blaze has 56k and i just did it about 1k ago and that was the first time its ever been done. Went with a wix filter and gasket, and valvoline dexron/merc III fluid. The old fluid smelled pretty burned. After the change I maybe noticed a little bit more firm/smoother shifts. I also had to change the tailshaft end seal because it was leaking. So far no more leaks and the trans seems to still be really good.
