aloha from hawaii! I have a 2000 s10 blazer 4x4 with no tranny, so i bought a 2002 blazer for parts. would the tranny from the 2002 tranny be a bolt on replacement or would i also have to transfer other parts (transfer case, driveshafts?) to make it work? thanks in advance!

 

Depends on whether the donor truck is a 4x4. If not, then the there is a LOT of work involved with making that transmission work in your truck. If it is a 4x4, then it'll drop right in.

 

the donor is 4x4. is there anything else i need to transfer over?

 

You may want to replace the fluid and filter in the replacement transmission just as a precaution.
