The engine in my current blazer has a cylinder 1 misfire because my fiance drove it 80 miles an hour down 66 and ( didnt realize) the TOP radiator hose had blown untill the motor was overheating and locking up. Luckily i got it started and the compression is at about 100 so i am still running it and it drives ok. Anyway long story short i found a 95 blazer with a bad trans , but a strong engine on craigslist for 500, was thinking about just grabbing that up and swapping transmissions. Any input would be awesome cause this thing is going to sell fast and i need to know asap thank you guys!! Kyle

 

If you swap over everything computer,wiring harness etc then yes. But electrical is different for the trans (the 98) compared to the 95.
