I have a 1993 s10 blazer. 4door 2wd, with the v6 and its the VIN:W. I bought it this past january and its had a transmission problem. ITs an automatic but in order to drive it i have to start in first then shift my way up into drive, and if i slow down to less than 30mph i have to downshift back to second, kinda like a stick shift without me having to use a clutch. Well, its been doing that since i bought it and according to the previous owner, its been like that for a few years. For some reason, the other day it just randomly stopped acting up. I can now drive it like a normal vehicle, but i didnt do any work on it or anything. i dont know what would cause that to happen, so if you have any insights please lemme know

mine has had similar issues and its some issue with the computer. but i also dont have my vehicle speed sensor hooked up due to using a different transfercase. so the computer or stuck solenoids or whatever was causing the problems started working again
