My friend has a 97 2-Door Blazer with 145k on the clock (Not too excited about that considering my 89 has the same amount. Haha). He said it needs a new tranny asap. I dont know if there's any other problems as well, but there probably are.

I was just wondering if any of you guys could tell me how much a new transmission normally goes for? Even prices for used ones would be fine.

The total cost to get mine rebuilt was about $1500 I believe.

Call around to shops. That was the lowest price I got around here.
