Transmission help please

Default Transmission help please

I have a 1992 chevrolet 4 door blazer, my problem is i changed my transmission and the kickdown/tv cable had broke.. I got one off a 91 and made it work but its to small its like 35 inchs long and i found one on ebay that is 39.5 for a 700r4.. would this fit in my 92?

all help is appreciated!

What do you mean by "made it work"? If you had to pull against the spring for the TV valve, you are not in a good position. IMO it would be better to have a cable that is a bit to long than to short.

Hope your trans is ok. The 700r4 transmission will not tollerate TV calbes out of adjustments much at all.

well the truck was at my friends house cause there was no insurance on it. so we used a short one to drive it to my place. now im looking for the right one. I was told that the 39.5 tv cable will work

Thank you for the advise though.
