Default Transmission noise when cold

Hello all,
Been a member on here for quite awhile, but was usually able to find what i needed by searching. I bought a 2000 blazer 2-door (non ZR2) back in feb. Needed some work...gave it a basic tuneup, replaced front wheel bearings, put in the deeper trans pan and associated filter. Its running great, but has a couple things i cant seem to get to the bottom of.

1) The transmission makes an odd buzzing noise during shifting, only when it is cold. The tranny shifts fine, fluid level good (just changed) and no CEL...any ideas?

2) I periodically see some coolant beneath the truck at the back of the engine...Is there a problem area near the back of the engine i should be focusing my attention to as a specific leak site (i.e. intake manifold )?

Thanks in advance.

Ok...so it seems like the coolant issue is probably pretty common, and likely from the back of the intake manifold.

Any ideas on the tranny noises when cold? Probably should just take it to a shop for a diagnosis, but I figured i would try here first.
