Ok so heres my problem: My truck trembles violently whenever i give it a little gas in revearse, it also takes about 3 seconds to shift into revearse from park or neutral, it shifts great in drive but the tranny fluid is BLACK and the truck has this problem in revearse. Im sure the tranny isnt in great shape but my question is, is there any way the shaking can be caused by something else or is the tranny the most likely cause? Thanks.

 

Black fluid is bad... Try changing the fluid and filter first.
