Default transmission question - 91 Blazer 5spd

so i've been doing some reading...

I have come to the conclusion that i own a Unicorn.

Who do i say that?

i've read on here that the 4 door blazer was not offered with a 5 spd manual trans, but i've been driving one for the past month now.

yes, 5 spd 4wd. it's got a little under 200k, but it runs great.
i just want to identify what trans i have under the truck.

any ideas? i havent seen any tags or identifying marks. i know it's mated to a np 231 (at least thats what i read on the tag)

any ideas?

thanks man.

i dunno. i called the dealer on the Service parts identification codes label in the glovebox, but all it comes up as is is this :

Transmission, Man S Spd, Hmd, 85mm, 4.d2 1t, O/d

All my current digging doesn't tell me what trans it is other than what i already know.

I would like to know more about the trans like gearing and fluid service, etc.
