transmission speed sensor location?

Default transmission speed sensor location?

i have a 2000 blazer LS 4dr 2wd and i bought the transmission speed sensor autozone Part Number: SU1283. well this is what the guy gave me. i seem to have a problem finding it to replace it. can anyone help me and maybe snapshot me a pic so i can see it. also did he give me the right part?

It should be on rear of transmission,on the tailshaft. Yes he gave u the right part.

is it on the drivers side or passenger side transmission tail?

should be passenger side

is it easy to fix I have an 03 blazer and I need to get it replaced but a trans shop told me 900+ and that’s more than the trucks worth I feel

It's not difficult. You should start a new thread if you want to discuss it further. You'll get much better replies than you get from reviving a dead one.
