Default Transmissions problems w/82 K5 Blazer

I have a 82 Chevy K5 Blazer and it will not pull at all in 1st,2nd or drive. However, it will pull in reverse. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Pull the dipstick and check your fluid and level.Look for discolored fluid probaly brown and do the snift test to see if the fluid is burnt.from the preliminary symtoms sounds like the trans is shot. You have hydramatic turbo 350 trans.Ive rebuilt several of them.If your fluid is burnt and discolored drop the pan which has 12-13 bolts on it and drain your fluid.Inspect for fine metalic shavings.Usualy in the case of burnt up trans the pan will be full of it.if theres nothing in the bottom of the pan replace all fluid and install a new filter and pan gasket.Dont over torque the pan bolts.Get them snug and tight and thats it about 10-15lbs of torque.
