Trouble in reverse and in drive
I have a 94 Chevy Blazer 5.7 TBI full size automatic
For some time now I've been worried and haven't done anything about it, now that I check my tranny fluid, the dipstick is dry while it's running and full while the engine is off, it doesn't seem to want to go anywhere in reverse with out giving it a good amount of throttle, and the same goes for drive. It only seems to be bad when it's at a cold start then warms up then goes away, till the other day it's been idling rough and revving high while I'm driving down the road and then seems to catch back up.

Always check the fluid running in park/neutral. it should be in the cross hatched area. there is a hot and cold section on the stick. hot is considered over 100 degrees F. cold is under 100. Bottom line is the trans is probably burned up from running low on fluid.
