I understand there are numerous threads about transmission problems, especially the 1-2 shift, but I was hoping to find an answer to my shift into drive and reverse.

Now, my '96 Blazer w/ the 4.3 has a 4" inch lift and 33's. I got this truck Saturday and did not have such a harsh transition into drive and reverse until yesterday.

So, wonder if you guys could give me some opinions what could cause this. The shifts while driving are just fine, no hard shifts at all, just when engaging drive and reverse...
