Truck in a way "slipping" on launch
So my 98 4.3 blazer seems have what i thought was a transmission problem. From the launch it would leap or not shift properly (what i thought). Then i took it to a transmission service center and they test drove it multiple times and said they just couldn't find the problem. So now they basically have told me that a transmission problem can be ruled out. They did however mention that the o2 sensor code was coming up. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Again in my best description it seems as if it is leaping or jumping around from the launch. Once you get into third or higher, their doesn't seem to be a problem.
So could it be o2 or clogged filter?
Thanks Everyone

I see that 59 people have read this and are probably not sure how to best help you with this mystery problem.
I would say if the check engine light is on and has an o2 lean or rich code, then that would be the first place to start. Replace it if needed. Then make sure you are on a fresh tune up. 4.3L engine have a common issue with faulty distributor caps.... Replacing the fuel filter isn't a bad idea if its been a while, most of this is normal maintenance anyway.
Somewhere to start anyway.
