I have a 2001 Blazer. When the weather gets warm it starts to act up.
I can turn the key one time and the truck will startup just fine. The next time I turn the key it may start right away, or it may wait for up to 3 min and then start.
While waiting the lights and gauges all light up and all the other electrical items work fine but the vehicle just sits there with the key turned. Then out of the blue it will start to crank and start up.

that sounds like a starter. mine did that the other day, after a 50 mile trip on the highway i shut it off and nothing, i was able to see my volt gauge drop a hair so i knew it was sending power, got under there with a hammer and smacked the starter and had someone hold the key forward and it fired right up.
most the time i seen this its the starter. unless you have a theft issue thats causing it not to start.
