Default vaccum lines

I have been reading up and down through this forum, but still have a question. I was towing my smaller snowmobile trailer a few weekends in a row up some pretty big hills about 40 miles from home. When I got to my destination both times, I had a few signs of atf on the ground where I parked in the snow. Not a tremendous amount, but enough to see it in the snow.

So I took the 2000 blazer to a reputable transmission shop explaining that more than likely the input shaft seal was bad on the transfer case. The first time he said there were loose bolts on the tranny pan. But the issue occurred a second time and I took it back to him.

He said he took the fill plug out and it wasnt overfull. So he opted to replace the vacuum switch with a GM switch ( which i had replaced around 10 years ago with an OEM one like it had before ) He did say that there was Atf in the vaccum lines and that the switch likely just failed and with heat generated from the towing it started to get in the lines.

He said that he didnt think the fluid got too far in the lines, but I'd like to be sure I purge the fluid from the lines. I looked at a few diagrams and I dont think I have the solenoid on the firewall? Which line do i cautiously put compressed air in to push fluid down to towards the vacuum switch with 3 connectors unhooked?
I dont want to push fluid back to my hvac controls and make this worse.

I am hopeful he was right in saying the input seal wasnt bad. I really dont want to make this issue any worse. I have not noticed any drop in fluid from the dipstick and on a regular day driving I have no signs of fluid leaking as of yet.

Would appreciate any experience here, thank you

If you have the 4-button controlled transfer case you will have a vacuum solenoid attached to the top of the firewall mid-way between either side. But from what you said it sound like you the 3-button type.

I suspect your diagnosis is correct. Unfortunately I don't know anything about clearing those lines. I do remember reading that using some solvent in them might be a good idea.
