Default Vacuum Line Goose Chase- Line behind Distributer

Hello, got a 97 S10 Chevy Blazer 4x4- started replacing dried up vacuum lines when we came across a line that was capped off- the line was coming from the evap-canister.

I went and took a look at the engine of a S10 Blazer at a local junk yard and could trace the line that’s capped on my engine heading down behind the distributor. My google searches have lead me to dead ends on where that line is heading to.

Looking for info on where that line is supposed to connect to- from the Evap-Canister to something down behind the distributor.

The 4x4 system has always struggled to switch on- not sure if that’s due to this capped line.

I think it's supposed to go to the canister purge valve on the right side of the intake manifold. It shouldn't affect your 4WD unless there's a vacuum leak.
