Hello all... I am the owner of a 2003 Chevy Blazer LS and am wondering if the two codes I’m getting could be the result of the same part not functioning .. the codes are P0455 which is evaporative emission system leak detected(gross leak /no flow )and P0463 which is the fuel level sensor... since my fuel gauge doesn’t work I thought maybe both issues are the result of the same part ?? And does the VCM control the ABS system?

 

It is possible both codes could be related. The link below has a really good article and diagram to help you get to the bottom of your issue. there are a few possibilities as you'll see in that thread, but I've found its pretty common for the sending unit ground wire to corrode where it attaches to the top of the rear shock crossmember( on the 4 doors anyway..might be on the rear crossmember on the 2drs i forget)
