Default Vehicle won't go into 2wd, any idea's?

Hey I searched but did not find any clue.

I got a 1989 Blazer S10 with 2.8L 5 speed standard transmission. I am not a mechanical master and had a friend help me, but I just put in a new clutch kit and now it does not seem to find 2wheel drive it just goes into 4wd high when its in the 2wd position.

The neutral and 4 LOW work fine though. Any ideas or am I tearing this apart again lol?

When you did the clutch, did you disconnect the transfer case shift lever? If not, it is possible you bent something in the process of replacing the clutch...

Unless you did something to fix the problem, I'd be willing to bet it is still there and will re-occur. I'd go ahead and inspect everything you touched when you installed the clutch kit.
