violent jerking

Yyeah I understand that. I will see if I'm a tooth off to make it more comfortable to drive until I can get it adjusted and relearned. The funny thing is, before I changed plugs, cap,and rotor, and did my LIM gasket iwas getting 11mpg. I changed them, but now am off time and get 12.6mpg. So When it is timed properly I'm looking. foward to getting "normal" gas mileage.

My 98 has 218K miles and when everything is set up "right", it will consistently get 20+ mpg. Took a 700 mile trip 2 weeks ago and averaged 23mpg, (used GPS for distance travelled, not the odometer).

Wow, I really hope I can get that. I'm a poor teenager getting barelyy over minimum wage, so that would really help

I adjusted yhe distributor and now it is running like brand new. I will take it to the dealer in a few weeks when I get extra money. Thanks so much for your help!
