Weird Starting Issue

I know, I know..."another one?!"
I'm having an issue where first thing in the morning, the engine doesn't want to start. It takes a couple of tries before it does. It cranks just fine, just won't start. When it's colder out though, I have to unhook either one or both battery terminals before it finally starts. While it's cranking, I can smell fuel. BUT...once it finally starts, it will run the rest of the day with no issues.
Things I have changed/know that are good/have had tested:
battery
starter
alternator
distributor cap/rotor
I'm planning replacing plugs/wires and the fuel filter this weekend. Any other ideas on what it could be?
