I have a 2002 blazer xtreme with a 4l60e and one day i was cruising on i495 and went into my exit i started hearing pinging sound in rear then tranny started dieing out i go to shopping center to check it out i noticed if i turned it off and re started it truck drives shifts perfect but all a sudden tranny gives out today i changed rear diff fluid cuz i opened it to check the gears and oil was brown and watery so i figured id replace it with lucas 75w90 ... anybody who has experienced this id appreciate any advice i think its my tranny but why would it shift perfect even when its warmed up

So is the trans shifting at all? you said it went out,but then it shifts even when warm...
