Does it turn over or make a buzzing noise when you try to start it?

Two things come to mind.

When you go to start it, turn your key to "Accessory" (two clicks forward without starting it) and listen for a whining noise in the rear. eveytime it doesn't start do that to see if the fuel pump is engaging.

The other thing i would check is the starter motor.

Please give more details on what it does when it won't start or dies.

Had something similar, sometime it just wouldn't start or the electric would just cut out. My terminal battery to the wire was corroded, didn't even look like it though but someone suggested I cut the wire back a bit to expose fesh wire, put the terminal back on and never happened again.

could also be the battery and the temp outside? Need more info on what noises you hear etc. Does electric work?

Could also be a bad distributor cap and rotor. No start and hard starting in damp conditions is a classic symptom. If it has been very humid that can do it as well. Try taking a hair dryer to it in the morning before you start it to dry out any moisture. If it starts, then replace them with delco.
