Default What to replace when swapping an engine?

Hey everyone. I have a 98 blazer with 65k miles. The engine has rod knock and I’m gonna buy an engine with 100k miles from a yard. Me and a buddy are gonna put it in. What all should be changed when swapping the engines? Either in the engine itself or other parts on the blazer? Thanks!

Belts, hoses, thermostat, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires to start. It's also a good time to change your lower intake manifold gaskets, oil pan gasket, and valve cover gaskets. Your motor mounts are notorious for going bad, too, and they'll never be as easy to change as when the engine is out.

Oil and filter should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway.

I'm sure others will have more good suggestions, depending on your budget, like oil pressure sensor, knock sensor, temp sensor, timing cover, crank sensor, etc.

Thank you. I have around $3000 saved up for the engine ($375) and any parts that need changed in the process.
