Get under there and look! Transfer case use's a pretty big socket 13/16 or 1 1/16 I believe. The front diff fill on my 95 blazer is a 13mm 6 point. Rear is 3/8 square drive. Im pretty sure!

oh i was under there... i actually had a hard time finding the rear diff drain/fill under all the grime on it. once i wiped it clean and inspected it and the front diff and transfer case i knew they were sizes i dont have. square drive on the rear? i could have sworn they are all allen/hex. i was hoping someone would know the exact sizes off hand. i didnt wanna buy a whole set of large allen keys right now. figured i would buy or maybe even borrow the 2 or 3 i need and thats it.

...on second thought i might invest in large sae/metric set.

i appolgize to the administrators/moderators for posting this thread under the wrong catagory =)

ok here it is: (for my truck at least. other blazers may differ.)

*3/8 square drive on the rear differential drain/fill plug

*15mm socket or open/box end wrench on the front differential drain/fill

GM-89021671 (old gm-1052271) fluid 80W90
1.5 quarts in the front and 1.75 quarts in the rear
DO NOT USE LIMITED SLIP ADDITIVES

*10mm allen/hex on the transfer case drain and fill plugs

GM-12378508 (old gm-12378396)
2 quarts
