Default lifted full size

ok, so i finally lifted my k5 4 inches and my driveline angle is pretty harsh. like when i gas it, i can hear the u joints grinding. i've heard of dropping the t-case down using the shims on the bottom of the cross member and putting them between the frame and cross member. does this work well?
