What is wire above Exh Manifold?

What is the wire above the exhaust manifold on a Chevy 350 crate motor?

W2JGA is an unknown quantity at this point

Does it connnect to the exhaust manifold? If it does, its the O2 sensor. If it connects to something mounted on the block, then its the knock sensor.
