I am brand new to this forum and need a little help. I just replaced my intake manifold gasket a week ago using the dtips article posted by other users. It went wonderfully and there are no more coolant leaks around the intake manifold, however my truck in the past week has developed an oil leak on the passenger side near the transmission. I have pulled the inspection plates on the bell housing and the interior seems to be dry, so I don't think it is the rear main. The leak may be more of a spray because it has oil even over onto the exhaust pipe that drops down next to the transmission. I am not super knowledgeable about things but it seems as though it may be coming from the cooler lines at the top of the transmison on the passenger side.. is this possible? does motor oil circulate through theses line or transmission fluid? But any help with where this oil leak may be coming from would be appreciated.

Check the passanger side valve cover or the oil pressure sending unit for the leak.
