I have a `94 S-10 Blazer 4WD. I would like to know what model year trannys will direct swap with my `94. I don`t want to do any mods. just bolt up and plug and play. I would like to know before I start shopping for one. I know that it must be a 4WD also I know that the AWD Brvada will work. It is the 1-piece case. I know `96 and later will not work. So... `95? `94 `93 I don`t know how far back I can look. Thanks, Jeff.

 

I'm thinking you may be in the same situation as i am when it comes to the 4L60E of that year. I'm thinking you can only use a 4L60E out of a 93-94 vehicle as i think there were some changes made from 95+ to the valvebody wiring etc.

Thanks for the info Chris, I will be hunting a `93 or `94 4WD or Bravada or Astro/Safari AWD. I heard that I will have to watch for late production `94`s as some had the `95 style PWM electronics. Wish me luck, Jeff.
