I am trying to figure out what sits between the manifold and the distributor cap on my blazer. It keeps making a funny noise and the blazer wont start. I replaced the starter just a few days ago so I know that isn't the problem.

 

What year blazer? Are you talking the intake or exhaust manifold? I'm assuming Intake Manifold, but you know what happens when you assume... Any chance you can take a picture of the engine and draw a line pointing to the problem area?
