Where does the brown wire end?

Where does the brown wire end?
I have been doing some work on my 91 s10 2.8l and have come to an opinion that I need to adjust the timing and can only find 1 end of the brown wire. I imagine without it hooked up there may be issues? What do the 2 ends attach to?
