Default will not go past 3000 rpms

Hi I am new here, I have a 2000 Blazer, The truck will not go past 3000 rpms, when it gets to 3000 it feels like its reving off the limiter. I put a new crank sensor, because i was throwing a crank sensor code, and it made the truck worst, so i put the old one back in. i also put new wires cap rotor, and new coil, still no better. in the morning when the truck has been sitting all night, the first pass down the street it will rev all the way to 5000 rpms but after that first wot pass, it goes back to stopping at 3000.

thanks for the help, this has been bothering me for months now
