Engine cuts out at 3000 rpm on 95 Blazer

When accelerating over 3000 rpm, the engine sputters and looses power. I then need to take my foot off the gas pedal until it regains power. I had a new fuel pump put on and replaced the fuel filter. I have no service codes showing. Was wondering if it could be a sensor.

When is the last time you had a tune up?

It has new plugs and wires. It sputters when going over 3000rpm, when you 1st start the vehicle you can run it over 4000 rpm in drive but soon their after it starts to sputter. Thought maybe a map sensor or ignition module.

until it warms up the IAC controls things. Surprised your not getting any codes. It should trip something, unless its fuel related. Like a paritally plugged fuel filter, or fuel pump not pushing enough fuel. Could be a MAP sensor as well, or a vacuum leak screwing up the MAP sensor.

I'm wondering if it's the manifold tuning valve. Would that cause my transmission to shift longer in each gear?
