Default Will this work.

I have a 93 S-10 blazer 4x4 4.3 vortec the tranny is shot i believe. I still have a few things to try but if that does not work i know someone who has a trans out of a 89 2.8 S-10 4x4 will the trans mount to my 4.3 with no issues. i just need something to run for lil bit.

Im pretty sure the bolt pattern is different, so youd hafta buy an adapter plate.

Yep, as stated, the bell housing bolt patterns are different. The 4.3L is a 90* v6 engine and shares its bell housing bolt pattern with the rest of the GM v8 engines. The 2.8L is a 60* v6 and has a much narrower bell housing bolt pattern.
