it has spark and gas it will sputter if i hold the gas to the floor i just put another tps on because it had gone bad and it fired right up i shut it off now it wont start....i can smell gas strong when cranking so i know its getting fuel...was really hope to go to the mud bog this weekend any ideas guys... oh ya and theres no check engine codes

Fuel pressure reading, in PSI? How about the leak down rate?

Just because you can smell gas, it does not mean that it is the appropriate amount. With the CPI motor, it is a good possibility that it is too much.

ok i dont have a gauge and i cant get one ill just have to get the part what all will i need to get just intake gasket and the regulator? or is there a kit to fix the regulator thats what it looks like on this page

If you can smell gas, that usually means your floodin it. I'd lean it out a lil'

Not sure if Lindertech.com is still offering their updated kit or not.

A fuel pressure gauge would save you from opening up the plenum. If you do not wish to get one to diagnose the problem, then you will have to open up the plenum and visually inspect for a leak.
