Wont Start
I have a 97 4wd 4.3L V6. I went to start it this past weekend & it wont start. I do got power to the dash & radio. When I try to start it all I hear is a clicking sound. Now I think its the Starter but I want to be sure that is all.

I just changed my boyfriends starter on his 94 s-10 blazer yesterday the solenoid was bad when I turned it over all I got was one click! Now he went to drive it home got a mile from home and the truck died today I changed the fuel filter and and the fuel pump quit tomorrow I am dropping the tank and checking the ground wire on the fuel pump! Good luck with your starter! Took me about a half hour to change it be careful of the transmission lines his were rusted and I put a hole in one and had to fix that too!!
OMG!! I went through everything changed filter changed starter which the solenoid on the starter was bad started ran for 10 miles then died again! Please Please Please check all your ground wires and make sure you have good connections!! I spent an entire week changing things and going through everything racking my brain I had a loose ground wire on the fuel pump and now the truck is back running like a champ again!!!! I wish you luck I hope this helps!!!
